Internship in our BIM Service team
Do you want to be part of our journey to make the building industry faster, smarter and greener?
At Bim.com, we connect the people who build with the products they build with. Are you ready to join us as our newest BIM Consultant Intern?
As a BIM Consultant intern you will learn what our BIM Service team does day to day and support and drive your own operational tasks. This role will focus on our business, BIMobject, a world-leading global marketplace for the construction industry that connects manufacturers with architects, engineers, and construction professionals. The BIM Service team is an international team that loves learning about and implementing the latest technology and we are looking forward to meeting you!
As our new intern, you will…
Sales material: Creating videos and demo materials that show prospects how BIM files work in practice, these will be used for sales meetings and trade shows.
Quality Assurance: Work with the quality assurance process for BIM files being produced. This can include reporting detected issues in produced files by external parties or reviewing older internal BIM files to determine whether they need updating.
Review BIM files: Review product pages that are underperforming, investigate why, whether that's a file quality issue or a user education gap, and suggest improvements.
Expand: If there are other areas that you find interesting and want to learn more about, we are open to expanding the internship. We want to create an internship that makes sense for both of us!
Grow: Learn how BIM files are built, how they're used across the construction industry, and what it looks like to work in a fast-moving SaaS company.
We believe that you …
Enjoy working in a customer-facing role where you use a solution-oriented approach to solve customer problems.
Have had an introduction to Revit and are curious to learn more
Are a fluent English speaker and writer, and any other European languages are a bonus
Study a secondary education within building engineering, architecture or a similar field and have an internship course in your education plan of a minimum of 10 weeks.
✨ Don’t fit every single box? We know that applying for a job can be intimidating and that experience comes in many forms. If this role looks like a great next step for you, please apply! We’d love to hear your story, even if you don’t meet 100% of the criteria.
What we offer our employees
The core: A startup mentality within a stable global company, but small enough for everyone to have voice in shaping our company’s future (140+ employees). We live by our values: Raise it, Do it, Together.
Flexibility: A genuine hybrid model. This role is based in Malmö, and we love the office energy, but sometimes a home office works better.
Growth: We invest in your development and encourage experimentation.
Inclusion: A diverse workplace where different perspectives drive innovation.
Practicalities: This is an internship that requires authorization to work in Sweden and is eligible for academic credits as part of your education, (eg LIA). The internship should be at least 10 weeks and is unpaid.
