As our new Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in guiding talented engineers in Team Journey, who develop and maintain critical applications using .NET and Angular in an Azure environment. You will focus on mentoring and coaching team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment, and helping them develop their skills and achieve their career goals.

As our new Engineering Manager, you will…

• Be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle of one engineering team, including salary and career development
• Attract, recruit, and grow top-performing talents with various skill sets, contributing to creating a positive and collaborative work environment within your team and across the department
• Provide mentorship through effective and timely feedback, supporting team members in their journey to becoming leaders and encouraging them to step out of their comfort zones
• Work closely with tech leads and product managers to align resources and develop efficient agile processes, ensuring smooth operations and guiding your team in solving complex technical and business problems by providing servant leadership
• Collaborate with the product engineering leadership team to contribute to overarching engineering strategy and processes, significantly impacting our engineering approach and advancing Bim.com’s technology

• Have demonstrated people management experience in previous roles, successfully leading high-performing engineering teams
• Possess a strong software engineering background, enabling you to mentor your team effectively
• Have experience in a product-led organization and have navigated a dynamic, fast-paced scale-up environment

And better access to it. Bim.com is the central source of product information for the construction industry and the engine behind an ecosystem of software, tools, and services that enable the information to be used at all different stages of a construction project. By doing so, Bim.com enables those who build to make informed decisions, work smarter, and enhance the overall efficiency and quality of the construction project.

Building better starts with us too, a dedicated group of people collecting all this data from the manufacturers and creating the platforms under the Bim.com umbrella for distributing it. These are currently: BIMobject - the industry’s global, open library of BIM files. Prodikt - the building project tool with integrated sustainability data. The Design App - automating climate calculations in building design. And lastly, supporting distributors and partners with data directly from Bim.com. On top of that, for the manufacturer we offer EandoX, LCA and BIM services - for creating product information, and making it ready for the market.

Practicalities

This position is located in Malmö or Budapest and follows a hybrid work model. You will be reporting to the VP Engineering, who is located in Gothenburg, and your closest team members are in Malmö and Budapest.
